Sewerage Scheme
Carrickmacross Sewerage Scheme Works Programme - December 2010 / January 2011

Crew 1: Castleblayney Road
Works for the laying of remaining bulk water meter and completion of additional works at connections and testing of pipelines are continuing and may need to be re-visited in New Year. This crew will then move to the rear of B&C offices, Chapel Lane to complete connections after Christmas.
Crew 2: Cloughvalley Play Park
Works to lay storm line in the area of the playpark are continuing and crew will then move to Farney Street and Ardee road after Christmas to connect meters and test mains.
Crew 3: Shirley House Lane
Phase 1 of this work has commenced from Mullanarry road to Ivy Lane and a road closure currently applies in this area. The 2nd phase from Ivy Lane to Main Street will commence after Christmas and a road closure will also apply. The Council’s car-park will be available until after the Christmas period.
Crew 4: Mullanarry road and Drumcondrath Road
This crew is commencing connections of individual houses on hopes to complete this work shortly. This crew will then move onto the Drumcondrath road to prepare for reinstatement works. This crew will also carry out reinstatement at Ross Road and Dundalk road in the New Year.
Crew 5
This crew will be carrying out testing of watermains and commissioning of bulkmeters and temporary watermains.

A road closure is currently in operation to the 25th of February 2011 at Shirley House Lane as follows:
